Power in Numbers Bookkeeping Cooperative exists to strengthen movements for social justice. We work in solidarity with black, brown, immigrant, and queer people and organizations. We believe that a democratic structure, where all members have shared rights and responsibilities, makes our co-op strong and resilient.

Power in Numbers is a member of the PODER Emma Worker Cooperative Network. We are working in our own cooperative, as well as in this network, to create community power and equity.

SERVICES WE OFFER:

Power in Numbers eases your administrative burden by entering transactions, invoicing customers or clients, tracking bills and accounts payable, and reconciling bank accounts. We prepare financial reports so you can keep an eye on the financial health of your business or organization. For nonprofits, we can also help set up systems for tracking grant income and expenses and prepare financial statements for grant applications and reports.

We can manage your payroll to make sure employees are paid on time, federal and state payroll taxes paid and reports filed, and that your business or organization is in compliance.

We prioritize working with social justice movement organizations and grassroots groups, and we want to help ensure your sustainability for the long-haul. We facilitate participatory workshops that begin with the wisdom of participants and build from there to strengthen financial skills and knowledge. We want to demystify finances and help create systems and processes that meet your values and help you achieve your goals.
